This is a big, fully built-out suburb — the growth happened here in the 1970s, 80s and 90s, well before Wentzville’s did, and what that means for us is that almost nothing in St. Peters is new. Very little of what we haul out of this city is construction scrap from a fresh lot. Add first-refresh work — original decks at end of life, kitchens and baths from the Reagan and Clinton years finally coming out — and a steady run of estate cleanouts as the original owners of these subdivisions move on, and the schedule fills itself.
