Lake Saint Louis is the closest place we serve after our own town — a five mile run down I-70 and off at Lake Saint Louis Boulevard, or straight across on Highway DD if the address sits on the south side. Eastern Missouri’s expansive clay moves with every wet and dry cycle, and a lakefront lot with a full basement is exactly where that shows up — foundation cracks, a sump pump that fails during a heavy spring rain, a floor drain that backs up, and suddenly carpet, pad, drywall and particleboard furniture are soaked.
